Today was pretty fun compared to most other summer days. After I got back from class, I went to Sarah Than's house and we played with her turtle and played ping pong. We took her turtle outside and sprayed it with the hose :D. She said that her last turtle died because it ran off of her hand. That's sad. Then we played ping pong and omg I suck. I kept thinking the ping pong paddle was longer, like a badminton racket. And I can't serve either; idk the rules.
<--- Bettina, that means you can't go on. (Anh wanted me to say that...)
In the room in the front of the house there's all of these random exercise equipments. A bunch of those exercise balls, a stair-climber machine, and then this super weird, complicated, SCARY exercise machine. Basically what you do is you strap your feet in on the
bottom so they're in super tight. And then you turn upside down, like completely upside down, and start to do sit ups. The first time I tried it, I didn't know what I was supposed to do so I was about to not strap my feet in. Which means I would've fell straight down on my head, ouch. After I was done fooling around with that torture device I saw this sticker on it ------------->
All of this stange exercise made us hungry so we came up with the idea to make waffles because we saw a waffle maker in one of the rooms. Sadly, we couldn't use it because apparantly it was supposed to be returned later. So instead made pancakes. We wanted to put chocolate chips in there, but she had none. We looked around for some other things that we could add and we found interesting ingredients: Walnuts, almonds. three musketeer bars, and blueberries. Sarah made the batter while Anh and I chopped up walnuts and almonds and candy. Sarah made the batter really runny. The waffles were turned into pancakes and now the pancakes were turned into crepes -_____-. The first batch of pancakes/ crepes was really buttery. All I could taste was butter, butter, butter. Then I tried some with oil and I put way too much on accident. It was basically like a fried pancake that was all greasy. I didn't eat any, but Anh Thai and Sarah tried some. Anh immediately spit it out in the sink. It was pretty greasy. After that, I walked home and I could feel my stomach hurting because all of the nasty, oily experimental pancakes.
I went to Walmart a little bit later. I didn't want to go because I don't like walmart :(. I went anyways because I got to drive home. My mom's new favorite phrase to say while I'm driving: "There is no need to accelerate!" Haha, funny.
Immediately after I got back home, my dad and my brother were going to go pick up pizza from some place called Pizza Box. The place was really hot and kinda small, but they had a juke box so we played Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles.
I arrived at home once again and we ate dinner and watched Inkheart. I actually finished it from beginning to end! Usually I never get to see endings of movies. The movie was pretty good, if you're into kinda fairytale, adventure stories.
Hmm, what am I doing tomorrow...? Hopefully watching Transformers 2! I'm not sure yet, maybe.
